A: If your present hosting provider can no longer fulfill the needs of your web site, or if you go through constant network downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the client care team to respond to you, it might be a smart idea to change your hosting provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your web sites along with your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At DigiHostPro, we are aware that this can be difficult and time–consuming. That’s the reason why we’ll perform all that for you for free!Our highly capable technical staff reps will transfer your website content from your present hosting provider to us. Our techs have extensive experience migrating web sites and are able to handle anything – from a conventional WordPress–driven blog or Joomla^™–powered site, to a highly complex, custom–made application.

A: There are a lot of factors to consider – the total number of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the present workload of our website migration experts, etc. That being said, we do our best to perform all web site migrations within a 48–hour time window. Smaller websites are migrated faster – usually in less than 24 hours.

A: We will require the login details for your current web hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the site’s name (domain name).

A: User privacy is among our greatest concerns – that’s why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–level digital certificates. We employ safety measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and administrative operations to secure the information that we acquire online. And we’ve got a very detailed and rigorous Privacy Policy, which outlines the types of information that we collect.

A: Nope. Your site will stay online during the transfer. Once everything is completed on our end, we’ll inform you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything’s alright, all you will need to do is change your domain name’s DNS resource records.

A: Nope. We’ll never contact your hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the website transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–powered hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can gain access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to migrate your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source web site building platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
